Timothy J. Tichenor

Tim has over 15 years of experience providing business advisory services to emerging companies and directs the business advisory services at Barnard Associates. Prior to joining Barnard Associates, Tim served as Director of the Business Development Center for Indiana University, where he managed the Center's partnerships with the City of Indianapolis, State of Indiana, U.S. Small Business Administration and the private sector. He also directed the staff of full-time consultants and provided consultation, training and mentoring to an emerging business client base. Tim has managed the operations of one of the State of Indiana's largest business incubators, a 50,000-square-foot facility located in Fort Wayne. He also ran the business development services for another business incubation facility in Columbus, Indiana. He is familiar with the issues, challenges and the development processes associated with emerging companies. His specialized skills include the ability to assess, develop, and validate strategies and action plans requisite to growing a business. He has a unique ability to identify and correct inefficient processes and excels at working with senior management to develop long-term sustainable solutions for business success. He has filled a variety of interim leadership roles and senior advisory roles for clients in the Barnard Associates portfolio. Tim holds a BA degree from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
