Barnard Associates, Inc. was established in 1994 by John H. Barnard as a management consulting firm focusing on business process reengineering. In this capacity, Barnard Associates assists the senior management of Fortune 100 companies, state and local government and educational institutions in the redesign of financial and administrative processes. By doing so, companies are able to shorten their process cycle times, reduce operating costs, increase overall efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction. In 1996, Barnard Associates began providing business advisory services to new companies in the formative stages of development, to emerging companies that are experiencing rapid growth, or for companies that are building the capacity for rapid growth. In 2001, Barnard Associates launched its life sciences initiative with the formation of Barnard Life Sciences. This facet of the business focuses exclusively on supporting early-stage medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and agriculture companies, as well as supporting companies that provide goods and services to the life science industry. Today, Barnard Associates has a cross-functional team of highly experienced executive Advisors that are able to understand the challenges of launching and growing a business.
